78. Prior to its omission, clause (18A), as inserted by the Rulers of Indian States (Abolition of Privileges) Act, 1972, w.e.f. 9-9-1972, read as under :

“(18A) any ex gratia payments made by the Central Government consequent on the abolition of privy purse;”
